Winter Welcome Days 2026

The KU Planeterium welcomes you to our Planetarium Extravaganza, an afternoon of shows on Wednesday, January 21st during KU's Winter Welcome Days 2026: at 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm (every hour, on the hour). The planetarium is on the ground floor of Slawson Hall (Slawson G174).

Hawk Week 2025

The KU Planeterium welcomed visitors to our Planetarium Extravaganza, a day of shows on Monday, Aug 18 during KU's Hawk Week 2025: at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm (every hour, on the hour). The planetarium is on the ground floor of Slawson Hall (Slawson G174); our schedule is:

• 1:00pm -- Mayan Archeoastronomy
• 2:00pm -- Sunstruck
• 3:00pm -- The Dark Matter Mystery
• 4:00pm -- The Hot and Energetic Universe
